FIR against Twitter CEO Over Placard Row in India


A court in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur on Saturday ordered police to register a case against Twitter business executive Jack Dorsey whose image holding a debatable poster had kicked up a row. Metropolitan jurist Rachna Bissa ordered Basni police office to file the FIR on a grievance by Rajkumar Sharma, the state vice chairman of the Vipra Foundation’s youth wing.
Lawyer Hastimal Saraswat aforesaid that the exposure of the Twitter business executive with a gaggle of lady journalists and activists during which he was holding a commercial spoken language “smash Brahmanical patriarchy” had hurt sentiments of Brahmins. He alleged that such a photograph was announced to injure the community. According to Sharma’s litigator, he saw this tweet on his mobile when that he submitted a written FIR in Basni police office, however, the police failed to register a case. once nothing happened even when he approached the commissioner, he had filed a grievance in court. The image announced on Twitter by a journalist World Health Organization was a part of a cluster of girls whom Dorsey met throughout his visit to the Asian country in a Gregorian calendar month, had him clutching a commercial of a girl holding up a banner with the road that has pained several Indians. Twitter had later apologized.
